About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented IT SOX/Internal Auditor to join our Global SOX Team in Bangalore. In this role, you will assess the adequacy of IT controls, test effectiveness across key financial systems, and contribute to ensuring compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
You will play a key supporting role in the design, testing, and evaluation of IT controls while collaborating with internal teams, control owners, and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Review walkthrough documentation and perform test of effectiveness for IT controls.
- Collaborate with control owners, IT teams, SOX members, and external auditors.
- Document test results in Visa’s standardized workpaper templates.
- Identify and report control issues, assist in developing Management Action Plans, and evaluate their adequacy.
- Support IT control meetings and communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Contribute to planning and execution of the annual SOX IT control program.
- Provide expertise on COSO and IT SOX frameworks and recommend best practices.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with external auditors on control-related matters.

- Education: Bachelor of Technology/Commerce degree.
- Preferred Certifications: CISA, CISM.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to anticipate risks, establish standards, and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Highly detailed, conscientious, and responsible team player.
