Job Role – Software Test Engineer
As a Software Test Engineer at Visa, you will act as an ambassador of quality in one of the company’s Agile Product Squads. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining QA solutions while ensuring high standards in software delivery.
You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and QA teams to deliver efficient, effective, and scalable solutions for real-world payment challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct API testing for robust and reliable systems.
- Integrate and perform testing at various levels within CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions in a microservices environment.
- Understand and apply Cloud-Native architecture practices.
- Collaborate in an Agile team environment to improve QA processes.
Required Experience & Skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 3+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong coding & scripting in Java.
- Proficiency in API testing.
- Experience with Agile delivery methods (BDD, ATDD, TDD).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of mocking tools, Kafka, Kubernetes (EKS), and contract testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
