Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer I, you’ll be part of a highly skilled engineering team developing the firm’s Post Trade Platform tools. You’ll work on mission-critical systems involving reference data, reconciliation, trade capture, P&L, surveillance, and compliance functionalities — ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for post-trade and compliance systems.
- Collaborate across global teams to deliver high-performance applications.
- Analyze requirements and implement innovative solutions for middle and back-office systems.
- Enhance Tower’s electronic trading infrastructure through cutting-edge technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a top institution.
- 0–3 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Linux, and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of SQL (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial instruments or prior trading system exposure is a plus.
