About the Role
Tesco India is seeking a talented Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights through compelling data storytelling and visualizations. Using tools like Tableau and PyDash, you’ll craft data-driven dashboards and reports that guide key business decisions across domains.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and synthesize large, complex datasets to deliver actionable insights.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and other visualization tools.
- Identify operational improvements using CI tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with market partners to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
- Automate repeatable tasks, reports, and dashboard refreshes.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across multiple sources.
- Develop reusable analytical assets and contribute to Tesco’s data knowledge base.
- Drive strategic decision-making through statistical and business insights.
What You’ll Need
- Experience: 1–2 years in analytics within domains like retail, telecom, CPG, hospitality, or finance.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced Excel, SQL, Hive, Tableau
- Data warehousing (Hadoop/Teradata)
- Basic statistical analysis (Correlation, Hypothesis Testing)
- Python or Alteryx for automation (preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving business problems.
