Role Overview:
As an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test, you will play a key role in validating and improving the performance, reliability, and user experience of Swiggy’s core products used by millions daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing of Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend services.
- Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases ensuring full coverage.
- Use JIRA, Charles Proxy, Postman for streamlined testing workflows.
- Understand SDLC, STLC, and core testing methodologies.
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including severity and priority analysis.
- Execute multi-platform testing with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end validation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in software testing principles.
- Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and client-server models.
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with Selenium and Appium.
- Experience in Java, Selenium, or Appium is an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud testing tools like LambdaTest or BrowserStack is a plus.
