Role Overview
We are hiring an Associate – Business Analysis (Junior QA Engineer) to join our software development and QA team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. You’ll gain hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, ensuring high-quality delivery of software applications and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and execute test cases for web applications and APIs.
- Conduct manual testing to identify bugs and validate functionality.
- Support in creating automated test scripts using Playwright or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to resolve issues.
- Document test results and prepare clear bug reports.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in software QA/testing or related field.
- Basic knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with a programming language (JavaScript, Python, or Java preferred).
- Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Understanding of BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
- Experience with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
- Interest in performance testing tools (JMeter).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
