The Role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Intern to join our fast-growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in automation, debugging, and test design while working closely with developers and senior QA engineers. This internship is a fantastic opportunity to build strong technical foundations in software testing and automation.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain automated tests across UI, API, and integration layers
- Collaborate with mentors to review requirements and identify testing needs
- Improve test coverage by finding missing cases and reducing flaky tests
- Support manual validation of new features and regression runs
- Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure functionality
Requirements
- Basic programming knowledge (JavaScript/Node.js preferred; Python, Java, or similar also welcome)
- Curiosity to explore systems and learn automation
- Familiarity with at least one testing/scripting framework (Playwright, Selenium, Jest, PyTest, etc.)
- Understanding of testing fundamentals (test cases, assertions, debugging basics)
- Eagerness to learn new tools and contribute in a fast-paced product environment
