Role Overview: Associate Engineer SOC (Tier 1 OT SOC)
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Engineer – SOC to join our Managed Services Security Operations Center (SOC) team in Noida. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and triaging security events across operational technology (OT) environments.
As a Tier 1 SOC Analyst, you will be the first line of defense in protecting mission-critical industrial systems by identifying anomalies, handling security alerts, and escalating threats to higher-tier engineers when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform continuous monitoring of network events and security alerts.
- Detect and identify anomalous network activities.
- Conduct triage of alerts to distinguish between false positives, security incidents, and intrusion attempts.
- Document and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SOC tickets and cases.
- Provide customer support via phone calls and incident updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3 years of experience in a SOC, cybersecurity, or IT security operations role.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, monitoring tools, and incident response basics.
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Security+ – Foundational cybersecurity knowledge.
- EC-Council Certified SOC Analyst (CSA) – Advantage for SOC-focused careers.
