Role Overview
As a SOC L1 Analyst, you will be responsible for 24×7 security monitoring, incident detection, and reporting. This role is critical in safeguarding client environments by detecting threats, documenting incidents, and contributing to continuous improvement of security use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform real-time monitoring and detection of security threats and cyberattacks.
- Send instant email notifications for non-investigated alerts.
- Create and manage incident tickets in the customer ITSM tool.
- Deliver daily and weekly automated security reports.
- Maintain and enhance use cases with new threat intelligence inputs.
- Document use cases, detection logic, and analysis run-books.
- Support service requests for log collection, filtering, and aggregation.
- Follow change management processes for SIEM updates.
- Participate in quarterly sessions to fine-tune security use cases and reports.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of security monitoring, threat detection, and reporting.
- Knowledge of SIEM tools and incident management processes.
- Ability to work in 24×7 monitoring environments.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
