About the Role
NIQ, the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Analyst to support Business-as-Usual (BAU) production processes within the Market Insight (MI) team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about data accuracy, product coding, and quality validation across diverse industries and categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end data integrity throughout processing workflows.
- Validate the correctness, completeness, and quality of processed data.
- Assist in resolving quality concerns raised by operations and analytics teams.
- Adhere to global and regional standards during data delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement data changes.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for data discrepancies and document findings.
- Maintain structured documentation of processes and resolutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of data outputs in alignment with SLAs.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong observation skills to identify product attributes and anomalies.
- Basic knowledge of product categorization, coding logic, and market behavior.
- High attention to detail during price checks and data validation.
- Proactive approach toward problem-solving and issue management.
- Ability to use internet search tools for product research and verification.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation or Post-Graduation in any stream (mandatory).
- Preferred: Candidates from Math, Statistics, Data Science, or Data Analytics.
- Relevant professional experience is an advantage.
