About the Role
As a Data Analyst, you will work with diverse datasets such as public equity filings, private market transactions, ESG taxonomies, managed investment data, and reference entity data. You’ll gain hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship to accelerate your professional growth in the financial research domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and verify data of basic to intermediate complexity
- Respond to internal/client data-related queries in line with methodologies
- Learn and apply Morningstar’s research standards to ensure quality and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues
- Participate in process improvements, stretch projects, and innovation initiatives
Candidate Requirements
You will be a strong fit if you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (preferably finance) with 60%+ marks
- Have strong English communication skills
- Are proficient in MS Office (Excel & Word)
- Learn quickly and pay attention to detail
- Can prioritize tasks and work under deadlines
- Are a fresher or have up to 1 year of experience
Shift Timings
- Early Morning (AU): 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- General: 10 AM – 7 PM
- Afternoon (UK): 3 PM – 12 AM
- Night (US): 8 PM – 5 AM
Preference: Candidates residing in Mumbai.
Work Environment: Hybrid (up to 2 days/week remote).
