Morgan Stanley is hiring a skilled Frontend Developer (Associate – Software Engineering) to join our CDRR Technology team within Non-Financial Risk Technology. About the Role
As a Frontend/UI Developer, you will design, develop, and enhance modern web interfaces using the latest frontend technologies. You’ll collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences that support global business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
- Work with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Convert design mockups and wireframes into high-quality UI components
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, accessibility & cross-browser compatibility
- Collaborate with UX and backend teams for seamless end-to-end implementation
- Conduct usability testing and resolve UI issues
- Maintain reusable components and design systems
- Stay updated on emerging frontend trends and best practices
What You Bring
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React / Angular / Vue
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Jest
- Good understanding of Agile development and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience using Git and responsive design best practices
