Position: Analytics & Modeling Analyst
Join our Model Verification Team within the Credit Strategy & Standards group, where innovation meets impact. You’ll play a crucial role in building, verifying, and analyzing complex financial models that power Moody’s structured finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and verify cash flow models using Moody’s proprietary tools.
- Analyze complex legal documents to interpret cash flow structures.
- Support model verification and ensure analytical accuracy.
- Collaborate with analysts, model developers, and research teams to enhance structured finance modeling.
- Gain exposure to advanced structured finance deal structures and risk assessment frameworks.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of Python, VBA, C++, C#, MATLAB, or R.
- Understanding of structured finance and cash flow modeling (strong plus).
- Familiarity with Moody’s Structured Finance Workstation (SFW) preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, Physics, or Business.
- 0–3 years of experience in financial modeling or analytics.
