Role: Trainee Engineer
We are hiring fresh graduates in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (with Computer Science) for our fresher’s induction program at our Bangalore office.
This program offers hands-on exposure to software development, product data management, testing, and analysis, enabling you to build a strong foundation in technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support analysis, design, development, and testing of software solutions.
- Maintain and manage product data to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with global Herman Miller teams across departments and regions.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes.
- Contribute to multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- BE / BSc (Computer Science) / BCA / MCA / B.Tech (Computer-related discipline).
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OOPS fundamentals.
- Exposure to computer programming through coursework.
- Training/certifications in tools such as BI, Microsoft .NET, or Reporting (preferred).
- Internship or project experience in software development (added advantage).
Personality & Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Passion for technology and solution development.
- Willingness to work in the UK shift (12 PM – 9 PM).
- Team player with attention to detail and quality focus.
Training & Growth Path
- Selected candidates will undergo a 2–4 month induction program across different teams and projects.
- Based on performance and strengths, candidates will be placed in live project teams for long-term assignments.
Hiring Process
- Written / computer-based test.
- Two or more rounds of personal interviews.
