About the Role
MetLife India is hiring a Jr. Software Platform Engineer to design, develop, and scale cloud-based hybrid mobile applications and microservices. This role is perfect for early-career developers who love solving complex technical problems and want to grow in a global, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud-based and hybrid mobile applications.
- Build microservices and configure CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
- Create highly reusable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.
- Contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Demonstrate ownership, leadership, and continuous innovation in projects.
Required Skills & Technologies
- Core Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices
- MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Jenkins/Bamboo
- ReactJS / AngularJS / React Native, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6)
- CI/CD tools such as Maven, Gradle, Gulp, or Webpack
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline
- 0–3 years of hands-on development experience in Java and microservices
