Job Overview
Kantar is looking for a Mid-Level Data Analyst to join its dynamic Data Science team. If you have strong experience in data analysis, SQL, Python, and a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights, this role is for you.
You will work directly with Senior Data Scientists to enhance data models, identify performance issues, and improve user acquisition and retention systems across Kantar’s global audience network.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alerts and ensure proper functioning of Kantar’s data ecosystem.
- Analyze user acquisition and retention metrics to detect weaknesses in existing models.
- Extract patterns and perform statistical analysis using ML techniques.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to improve user engagement.
- Use ETL tools like DBT and visualization tools like Grafana.
- Work on cloud technologies (AWS, EC2, S3, Redshift) for data-driven projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database query optimization.
- Hands-on experience in Python, data mining, data wrangling, and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of regression, distribution properties, and statistical testing.
- Familiarity with AWS-based data environments.
- Experience with Excel and Power BI is a plus.
- Passion for machine learning, data science, and solving complex analytical problems.
