Role Overview
As an Associate Software Engineering Intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and product managers to build next-generation transportation and logistics software. This hands-on role gives you the chance to work across the entire tech stack, from frontend to backend, and to contribute meaningfully to real-world, high-impact solutions used across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in an Agile team with developers, QA, and product managers.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new product features.
- Work across the full technology stack — frontend to backend.
- Maintain ownership of assigned modules throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to high-quality software releases.
Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java and/or C++.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQLServer, or Postgres.
- Excellent understanding of data structures and design patterns.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building enterprise or web applications.
- Familiarity with the Java/JEE stack (JDBC, JPA, JMS, JMX).
- Exposure to Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks.
- Experience with Kafka, Tomcat/JBoss, and secure coding concepts.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
