Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following criteria as of 16th November 2025:
- Must possess a valid GATE score in any of the years 2023, 2024, or 2025.
- For CS & IT stream: Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Information Technology (CS).
- For Electronics stream: Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication (EC).
- Must hold one of the following degrees from a recognized university/institute:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
- M.Sc. in Electronics, Computer Science, or Physics with Electronics.
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
Age Limit (as on 16.11.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Departmental candidates (Central Govt.): Up to 40 years

Salary / Pay Scale

Selection Process
The IB ACIO (Tech) selection process includes three stages:
- Shortlisting based on GATE Score (2023/2024/2025)

- Weightage: 250 Marks
- Interview (Technical and Communication assessment)
