About the Role
As a Cloud DBA at HCLTech, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining RDBMS environments, ensuring database health, optimizing performance, and supporting cloud-based deployments. This position offers excellent growth opportunities for candidates eager to enhance their cloud and database engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain overall health and performance of RDBMS databases.
- Work with Oracle, Data Guard, RMAN, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Apply software maintenance upgrades, security patches, and bug fixes.
- Monitor and manage database backups, users, and storage.
- Oversee Oracle physical standby and replica environments; rebuild or re-sync when required.
- Perform code deployments and database optimizations.
- Identify long-running queries and provide recommendations.
Optional Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AWS Cloud, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, or Service Catalog.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL administration.
- Awareness of AWS security and compliance best practices.
- Experience with Unix shell or Python scripting.
Experience Required
- 6 months to 3 years of relevant experience.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
- Candidates must belong to 2023 or 2024 batches.
