About the Role
We are inviting applications for Management Trainee – US Domestic & Global Trades, Wealth Operations.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end trade support, clearing, settlement, and lifecycle processing across US Domestic and Global markets. You will work closely with clients, brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure accurate, seamless trade settlement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full trade lifecycle: loading, matching, pre-matching, settlement, cash transfers, fails management, and post-settlement activities.
- Support Trade Support functions: rebooking, recalls, returns, and discrepancy investigation.
- Partner with brokers, custodians, and client desks to resolve unmatched trades and settlement issues.
- Apply root-cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to trade booking and trade flow issues.
- Work with applications such as Global Plus, AddVantage, Trust Desk (advantageous).
- Maintain strong risk and controls awareness with audit readiness.
- Ensure smooth clearing and settlement for securities such as Bonds, Equities, Mutual Funds, MBS, Derivatives, SWAPS, Stock Lending, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate degree (Post-graduate preferred).
- Strong analytical, probing, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in middle/back office roles in financial services.
- Prior Associate-level experience in trade operations.
- Exposure to business transitions and required documentation.
