Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Junior Financial Analyst (Cost Accounting Solutions) to join our Finance team in Chennai. This is an exciting opportunity for freshers and early-career finance professionals eager to build a career in cost accounting, analysis, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform defined cost accounting activities accurately and on time.
- Track and analyze cost metrics, ensuring alignment with corporate accounting policies.
- Support process improvement and cost reduction initiatives through kaizens and optimizations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to monitor and resolve metric non-conformances.
- Post journal entries for accruals and reclassifications in ERP systems.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs and documentation in DMS.
- Serve as a backup for the Cost Accountant as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com, or MBA (Finance).
- Experience: 0–2 years in a finance or accounting role (freshers welcome).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and policies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
