About the Role
Emerson is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C# .NET, SQL Server, Web API/REST API, WPF, and ASP.NET to join our dynamic development team in Pune. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders, design and develop high-quality software solutions, and ensure timely delivery within Agile Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand project scope and deliver quality output as a Scrum Team member within deadlines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements.
- Design and architect features/modules following best practices.
- Develop and rigorously unit-test software for maximum quality assurance.
- Contribute to verification and validation activities when required.
- Follow secure development processes and software engineering best practices.
- Participate in peer reviews to ensure coding standards and maintainability.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT from a reputed institution.
- Experience in both web and desktop application development.
- Strong knowledge of OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis & Design) and data structures.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud Platform (advantageous).
