Role Overview
As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll join EA Mobile – Slingshot Games, home to hits like Need for Speed: No Limits, Real Racing 3, and Plants vs Zombies. You’ll help build immersive, high-quality mobile gaming experiences that reach millions of players across the globe.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to create new game features.
- Optimize code for performance, load times, and frame rates.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Document and follow coding standards for scalable, maintainable systems.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of tech-driven game features.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficient in C++, Java, or PHP.
- Knowledge of 3D Mathematics used in gaming.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AI/ML concepts.
- Creative problem-solver who can work independently.
- Experience using Gen AI tools is a plus.
