What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide customer support via tickets, chat, email, and phone.
- Troubleshoot product, application, and infrastructure issues.
- Quickly learn and adapt to evolving DigitalOcean systems.
- Work collaboratively within a global support team (we love Slack!).
- Manage incidents and escalations effectively.
- Identify and document process and policy improvements.
- Help prevent and combat fraud/abuse across the platform.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance customer experience.
- Architect high-availability solutions for rapidly scaling customers.
What We Expect From You
- Strong background in cloud technology and Linux systems.
- Passionate about technology, customer success, and problem-solving.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Prior experience in Customer Success, Support Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Technical Skills
- Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Django, and open-source systems.
- Networking and storage fundamentals.
- Virtualization: KVM, Xen.
- Hands-on with databases: MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB.
- Bonus: Kubernetes troubleshooting (pods, deployments, control plane).
- Bonus: Certifications such as RHCE, CKA, CKAD.
