Role Overview
Dexcom is hiring an SW Test Development Engineer 1 to join our collaborative engineering team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of Dexcom’s advanced software products used by people living with diabetes worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in software requirements and design reviews.
- Create software verification plans, test protocols, and conduct software risk analysis.
- Validate software configuration, functionality, and UI for multiple platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java or Python.
- Execute test plans, track defects, and collaborate with development teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis and document detailed test reports.
- Follow software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures compliant with medical regulations.
- Modify test protocols based on requirement changes and support regression testing.
- Work cross-functionally with engineers and QA teams.
What Makes You Successful
- Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Strong experience in automated testing using Appium, Xcode, ADB, Android Studio, and related tools.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, GIT, and bug-tracking systems like Jira.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing, regression testing, black-box testing, performance/stress testing, and white-box methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot mobile applications and gather logs, evidence, and debugging reports.
- Experience with Linux/Mac terminal commands and ADB.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
