Role Overview
Cognizant is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer proficient in .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, SQL Server, and Azure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python programming, API development, and application deployment across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Windows and web applications using Python and .NET technologies.
- Write and review clean, efficient, and tested code for APIs and microservices.
- Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and DML operations.
- Deploy and manage applications across various environments including Azure platforms.
- Understand design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Work on end-to-end healthcare product development and support.
- Provide complete knowledge transfer (KT) before production releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in customer meetings.
- Contribute innovative ideas and participate in organizational initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Python, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server, Azure.
- Experience in unit testing, CI/CD, and cloud deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of design patterns and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
