About the Role
Join Cisco as a Software Engineer (New Grad) and become part of a dynamic team shaping next-gen software across networking, embedded systems, and application development. You’ll collaborate with world-class engineers to design, develop, and optimize solutions that transform how people work, live, learn, and connect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and debug software programs for next-generation Cisco products.
- Build and enhance software for networking, cloud, mobile, or embedded systems.
- Develop tools and infrastructure to support design, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to product architecture, system integration, and scalability.
- Ensure applications are robust, tested, and performance-optimized.
Areas You Can Work In:
🔹 Networking Protocols
- Understand TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
- Hands-on with Python scripting and network debugging tools.
🔹 Application Development
- Work with object-oriented programming, Python, cloud deployment, and UI/UX design.
- Develop scalable and secure applications for desktop, web, and mobile.
🔹 Embedded & Systems Development
- Build system-level software including kernel modules, device drivers, and BSPs.
- Focus on OS fundamentals, system programming, and debugging techniques.
Who You Are:
- A student graduating in 2026 with a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong in data structures, algorithms, and programming (Python preferred).
- Creative problem-solver with solid debugging and analytical skills.
- Eager to learn, collaborate, and innovate in a global tech environment.
