About the Role
Join CGI, one of the world’s largest IT and business consulting firms, as a Software Engineer. In this role, you’ll provide L2/L3 support for Java-based applications, ensure system reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver L2/L3 support for Java applications in production and non-production environments.
- Monitor application performance using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Troubleshoot incidents, service requests, and application issues within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and middleware teams to identify and resolve root causes.
- Conduct health checks, log analysis, and proactive maintenance.
- Participate in release and deployment activities, ensuring smooth rollouts.
- Maintain documentation for known issues and best practices.
- Adhere to ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Java and SQL
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)
- Understanding of ITIL and production support processes
