What you’ll be doing
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll collaborate with design, development, ops, and test teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deploying and automating infrastructure, networking, containers, and software packages
- Driving Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform & Ansible
- Implementing zero-trust security architectures and secret management
- Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure, software, and networking issues
- Working within Agile/Scrum teams with strong communication practices
- Sharing expertise with junior engineers while adopting and promoting new technologies
What we’re looking for
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Linux knowledge (server management, CLI, debugging, packages)
- Experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, SIP, DNS and Linux debugging tools
- Hands-on scripting in Bash/Python
- Git & CI/CD frameworks (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Automation with Ansible & IaC with Terraform
- Cloud expertise (preferably Azure)
- Containerization & orchestration (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize)
- GitOps tooling (FluxCD/ArgoCD)
- Observability tools (ELK, Prometheus)
- Exposure to databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra)
- Exposure to service discovery (Consul, etcd, ZooKeeper)
- Message queues (Kafka, Redis)
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira
