What You’ll Be Doing
As a Junior SDET at Betterworks, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our product quality and performance. You will:
- Identify risks and assess product quality across releases.
- Design and write test cases.
- Automate test cases using Cypress.io and integrate them with our CI/CD pipeline.
- Define and track quality metrics, maintaining QA documentation.
- Review developer implementations and identify potential issues.
- Assist with test cycle planning, test data setup, and quality reporting.
What’ll Help You Succeed
- 0–1 year of experience in QA or automation.
- Strong understanding of manual testing fundamentals.
- Basic debugging skills for web applications.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, databases, sessions, and tokens.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
- Exposure to automation tools like Cypress.io or Selenium (through projects, internships, or coursework).
- Bonus: knowledge of performance/security testing or defining test strategies.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and proactive communication.
