Role Overview – AWS Engineer
We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud architectures. The ideal candidate must excel in AWS services, automation, container orchestration, cloud migration, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure challenges. This role requires working EST hours (5:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST).
Key Responsibilities
AWS Cloud Architecture & Implementation
- Design and implement scalable architectures using AWS services: VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, Route 53.
- Develop HA/DR strategies aligned with compliance and business continuity standards.
- Manage multi-account setups using AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone Accelerator.
DevOps & Automation
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Automate provisioning and monitoring using Bash/Python scripts, SSM, CloudWatch, and Trusted Advisor.
- Manage container deployment with ECS, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Cloud Migration & Optimization
- Lead on-prem to AWS migration for applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Conduct cost optimization, TCO analysis, and architecture decoupling.
- Support presales with technical proposals and solution designs.
Systems Engineering & Troubleshooting
- Provide deep debugging for OS, networking, and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Harden and secure Apache, Nginx, and MySQL environments.
- Manage monitoring stacks like ELK, Nagios, Zabbix for proactive alerting.
Required Technical Skills
- AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, CodeDeploy
- IaC/Automation: Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Bash, Git, AWS CLI
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS
- Monitoring: ELK Stack, Nagios, Zabbix, Trusted Advisor, CloudTrail
- Security: IAM policies, SGs, NACLs, server hardening
Work Hours
EST Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST
