About the Role
Step into the role of KYC Onboarding Analyst at Barclays, where you’ll be at the core of our banking operations and risk management processes. In this position, you will ensure client onboarding and due diligence are compliant with all relevant regulations, helping safeguard the integrity of the financial system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence on new clients, including individuals and corporate entities.
- Review and verify KYC documentation such as proof of identity, address, and corporate papers.
- Perform client risk assessments including PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
- Identify and escalate compliance risks to senior officers when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize Wholesale Onboarding processes.
- Develop reports, recommend process improvements, and support transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong understanding of KYC regulations, AML standards, and risk controls.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data and make informed decisions under compliance frameworks.
- Experience in banking operations, client onboarding, or financial due diligence preferred.
