The Role
We are seeking a Staff Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Connect to design, configure, and integrate advanced contact center solutions. You will be responsible for building scalable customer service experiences, creating clear documentation, and leading integrations with CRMs, ticketing systems, and third-party platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, configure, and optimize Amazon Connect environments (contact flows, routing, Lex bots, Lambda functions, Tasks).
- Integrate Amazon Connect with CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot) and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Zendesk) using AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3).
- Develop automation workflows to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
- Create user-friendly documentation, guides, and training materials for technical teams and end users.
- Lead implementation of new contact center features, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor internal teams on Amazon Connect best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and complex integrations.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, Lex, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
- Proven integration experience with CRMs and third-party platforms.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills (C1 English proficiency).
- Familiarity with contact center KPIs and customer experience best practices.
- Scripting/coding skills in Python, Node.js, or JavaScript (preferred).
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or Amazon Connect specialization) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Amazon Connect Cases, Wisdom, Tasks, Contact Lens.
- Knowledge of TCPA compliance and secure call handling.
- Understanding of UI/UX for agent and customer interfaces.
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, education).
