Role Overview
American Express is hiring a TCPS Analyst to support Travelers Cheques & Prepaid Servicing (TCPS) operations. In this role, you will ensure exceptional customer experience by reviewing customer and merchant requests, processing prepaid product queries, and making informed decisions based on compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls/faxes from customers and merchants for prepaid products like Gift Cards and Traveler Cheques.
- Handle claims for lost/stolen cheques and unable-to-cash scenarios.
- Process refunds, escheatment queries, overspend, and excessive balance cases.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze risk-related data to identify fraud patterns and ensure compliance.
- Prioritize tasks effectively while balancing regulations, policies, and customer experience.
- Meet performance goals in a 24×7 multilingual customer service environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate with 0–3 years of customer-facing experience.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong decision-making, listening, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
- Experience handling escalations professionally and courteously.
- Must meet internal performance eligibility requirements.
