Role Overview – Analyst (Data Analytics)

The Analyst – Data Analytics role sits within the International Card Services (ICS) Centre of Excellence (COE) and plays a vital part in driving business growth across 27+ international markets. You will collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to deliver actionable insights, optimize customer targeting frameworks, and improve campaign ROI for acquisition and lending strategies.

This is a high-visibility role where you will lead a team of 3+ data scientists and work on analytics initiatives that directly influence international marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Targeting Frameworks: Build and enhance targeting strategies for internal acquisition and lending treatments (consumer to small business card cross-sell, lending on charge, plan-it, loans, etc.).
  • Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with marketing teams to utilize targeting frameworks for campaigns, ensuring improved ROI across ICS marketing investments.
  • Testing & Measurement: Set up proper test and control methodologies for campaigns in international markets. Implement performance measurement frameworks for continuous optimization.
  • Strategic Insights: Conduct deep-dive analyses to improve marketing outcomes through targeting, content, offers, and channel optimization.
  • Analytics Roadmap Execution: Identify opportunities, resolve issues, define success metrics, and drive automation of analytical frameworks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure analytics solutions meet all applicable risk and regulatory requirements while designing proactive process controls.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA or Master’s in a quantitative field (Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics).
  • 0–3 years of relevant analytics experience (risk, marketing, or digital product functions).
  • Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills with proven business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Preferred: Programming skills with exposure to Big Data technologies.
