Role Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Data Science Intern to join our R&D team in Pune. This role offers an incredible opportunity to work alongside industry experts on machine learning, data engineering, and intelligent automation projects that directly impact enterprise decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on innovative engineering challenges to operationalize Data Science models.
- Design and implement state-of-the-art Machine Learning (ML) techniques.
- Develop and maintain distributed ML infrastructure, including model hosting, serving, and inference pipelines.
- Collaborate with senior ML Engineers and Data Scientists on customer-facing AI solutions.
- Support and enhance customer data science projects using Aera Decision Cloud™.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Pursuing or completed B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) or MCA/MCS.
- Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP.
- Proficiency in Python and basic knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, etc.).
- Understanding of time series data, API development, and basic cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) concepts.
- At least one project hosted on GitHub, Heroku, or any cloud platform.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to backend development and databases (SQL, Postgres, NoSQL).
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
- Certifications or MOOCs in Data Science, ML Engineering, or MLOps (Coursera, Udacity, fast.ai, etc.).
