Role Overview
As an Associate Technical Support I, you will be a part of Anthology’s Global Support Team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide first-level technical support for applications, infrastructure, and customer-related issues. This role involves troubleshooting, documenting solutions, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations for clients.
This is a hybrid remote role based in Bangalore, India, offering flexibility while giving you the opportunity to work with a global customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:
- Provide initial support for operating system, network, and application issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve common Windows/Linux and web server problems
- Document Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and contribute to internal knowledge base articles
- Communicate with clients via email, chat, and phone to ensure timely updates
- Participate in on-call support during weekends and rotational shifts for 24/7 coverage
- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and support teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Monitor systems proactively and escalate problems to minimize downtime
Required Skills and Qualifications
To apply for this role, you should have:
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or technical support
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Basic understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Familiarity with SQL queries and web server management
- Experience or exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- PowerShell scripting knowledge for automation and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware or Docker
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (ADO, Salesforce)
