What You’ll Do in This Role
As a Software Development Engineer at Nokia, you will:
- Collaborate with architecture and ASIC teams to develop next-generation SDKs for advanced ASICs.
- Design SDK APIs and algorithms that power high-performance telecom networks.
- Define and execute SDK test plans while supporting software integration.
- Create design documentation and work alongside ASIC and Optical architecture teams.
This role is ideal for those who want hands-on experience in telecom networking software development and thrive in collaborative, innovative environments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
To apply for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years in software development within the communications industry.
Technical Skills:
- Strong coding and debugging skills in C/C++ (must-have).
- Familiarity with Linux or RTOS environments (preferred).
- Knowledge of Embedded Systems, Device Drivers, and Protocol Software Design (good to have).
- Exposure to ASIC SDK development, GIGE, OTN, or DSP (optional but a plus).
