Role Overview – Analyst, Information & Cybersecurity Governance
As an Analyst in Information and Cybersecurity Governance, you will support critical mandates across cybersecurity, records management, compliance, and governance. This role demands strong organizational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work with global, cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Magna’s Records and Information Management program.
- Assist with Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Plans, and Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Conduct employee training, security awareness campaigns, and communication initiatives.
- Maintain and support IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Continuity policies.
- Participate in Governance, Risk, and Compliance activities.
- Assist in Digital Identity & Access Management and Data Loss Prevention measures.
- Conduct Cloud Security Reviews and support 3rd party audits.
- Assist with OEM Information Security Requirements and Information Security Audits.
- Support certification preparation for standards like TISAX and ISO 27001.
- Monitor software compliance and manage information security classifications.
- Handle discovery collections for legal and compliance purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent certification in a related field (Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or similar).
- 1–5 years of relevant work experience (cybersecurity, governance, compliance).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience in large corporations or law firms (preferred).
- Knowledge of decentralized organizational structures (asset).
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in compliance and governance functions.
- Experience collaborating with global teams
