About the Role
eClerx is seeking talented and motivated Analysts to join its dynamic team in Pune. This is an exciting opportunity for freshers and early-career professionals to work in investment banking operations, handling crucial back-office and middle-office processes for top financial institutions.
The role covers the full trade lifecycle, reference data management, reconciliations, settlements, KYC operations, and exposure to multiple financial products. You will gain hands-on experience with global clients, financial products, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on back-office and middle-office operations for financial institutions.
- Manage stages of client/product lifecycle: KYC, reference data management, legal documents, loans, portfolio reconciliation, document capture, and system reconciliation.
- Support pre and post-settlement processes, brokerage functions, drafting, trade support, corporate actions, tax operations, and more.
- Perform data capture, cataloging, data processing, and update systems accurately.
- Prepare operational and financial reports using MS Excel.
- Communicate with agents, counterparties, and clients to resolve process-related queries via phone/email.
- Identify risks and escalate issues promptly.
- Perform trade support activities such as trade confirmation matching, pre-settlement checks, FO-BO reconciliation, and settlements.
- Work on syndicated loans, corporate action setups, regulatory reporting, and reference data support.
- Learn and master multiple financial products such as:
- Equity Securities & Derivatives
- Interest Rate Swaps
- FX Spot, Options, Futures
- Credit Derivatives Swaps
- Commodities Derivatives
- Corporate & Treasury Bonds
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA, M.Com, MBA, PGDM
- Experience: 0–2 years in investment banking operations (projects, people, process, and client management).
- Knowledge: Finance basics, trade lifecycle, investment banking, derivatives.
- Skills:
- Strong logical and quantitative abilities
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and report generation
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
