About the Role
As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1), you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure remains stable and operational. You will diagnose and resolve low-complexity incidents, monitor client environments, and assist across multiple technologies such as Cloud, Security, Networking, Collaboration, and Applications.
This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, proactive monitoring, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent client experiences. You’ll also maintain knowledge articles, support project tasks, and contribute to disaster recovery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client systems and proactively identify incidents or errors.
- Provide first-line technical support via calls, ITSM tools, or chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve low-complexity incidents in line with SLAs.
- Perform maintenance tasks including patching and configuration updates.
- Work across multiple technology domains (Cloud/Security/Networking/etc.).
- Update/create knowledge base articles and follow SOPs for issue resolution.
- Support disaster recovery testing and project-related activities.
- Ensure clear handovers during shift changes to maintain service continuity.
- Escalate unresolved issues and maintain disciplined ticket handling.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Entry-level experience in troubleshooting in network, security, data center, systems, or storage.
- Basic understanding of ITIL, redundancy concepts, and management agents.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and standard operating procedures.
- Strong client-focused approach with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain positive work ethics.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed.
