About the Role
As a WLAN Linux Software – Associate Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of RTOS-based software modules for Qualcomm’s advanced WLAN solutions. You will work with top-tier engineering teams while building expertise in OS fundamentals, peripheral drivers, transport flow mechanisms, and WLAN protocols (802.11).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RTOS-based WLAN software modules (Zephyr, FreeRTOS, QNX).
- Implement synchronization, process/thread management, memory management, and IPC within RTOS environments.
- Design and integrate peripheral drivers such as SPI, UART, SDIO, and PCIe.
- Contribute to transport-level flow control and ensure robust data transfer across interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams for high-quality product delivery.
- Apply familiarity with IEEE 802.11 or similar networking protocols to improve system performance.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, or related fields.
- 0–1 years of hands-on experience with Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or QNX.
- Strong understanding of OS fundamentals: synchronization, threading, memory, IPC.
- Experience implementing at least one driver (SPI/UART/SDIO/PCIe).
- Exposure to transport-level flow control mechanisms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
