About the Role
Genpact is inviting applications for the position of Process Associate – Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate will support and optimize AP processes, ensure accuracy in invoice processing, and collaborate with global team members to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Process PO, Non-PO (FI), and eInvoices according to standard procedures
- Reconcile processed invoices, verify entries, and validate system reports
- Allocate costs to accounts and cost centers while maintaining accurate records
- Manage daily production planning and task allocation
- Execute vendor payments by monitoring PO terms, discounts, and resolving discrepancies
- Process employee travel & expense (T&E) reports with accuracy
- Utilize advanced Excel features (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning)
- Resolve AP queries: wrong postings, reversals, corrections
- Review and update SOPs in coordination with clients
- Maintain 100% accuracy in invoice processing and monthly reporting
- Ensure region-specific tax compliance
- Provide support to team members and clarify process-related concerns
- Understanding of helpdesk processes is an added advantage
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate degree in any discipline
- Strong communication skills (written & spoken English)
Preferred Skills:
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in Oil & Gas
- Working knowledge of SAP, reporting tools & ServiceNow
- Understanding of Source-to-Pay lifecycle
- Strong analytical capability, time management & attention to detail
