About the Role
Start your software engineering journey with EPAM India, a global leader in digital transformation and platform engineering. As a Junior Software Engineer (Trainee), you’ll take part in a 5-month intensive training program designed to prepare you for high-impact, real-world software development projects. Upon completion, you’ll move into a full-time engineering role contributing to cutting-edge applications and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions.
- Build automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Contribute to all phases of SDLC—planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
- Automate tasks using modern scripting frameworks.
- Conduct debugging, code reviews, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to enhance system reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to process improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation Year: 2025
- Education: BE/B.Tech (CSE/IT) or MCA
- Academic Scores:
- Minimum 70% in Graduation
- Minimum 60% in 10th & 12th
- Backlogs: None active
- Education Gaps:
- No gap between 10th & 12th
- Maximum 1-year gap between 12th & Graduation
Skills & Requirements
- Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases
- Familiarity with Git and build automation tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
