About the Role:
Tech Mahindra is hiring a skilled Software Engineer to join our hybrid team in Kolkata. If you have hands-on experience with the .NET Framework, Java, Oracle Database (SQL/PLSQL), and Cloud technologies (Azure), this is your chance to grow with one of India’s leading IT giants.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, ensuring secure, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and resolve software-related issues with a customer-centric mindset.
- Develop, test, debug, and maintain secure and scalable codebases.
- Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to deliver efficient resolutions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality assignments within deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong understanding of .NET Framework, Java, Oracle SQL / PL/SQL, and Scripting.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming and Software Quality Standards.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, IFS).
- Knowledge of Web or Mobile App Development.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud platforms.
- Exposure to AI tools like Copilot, Loop, or AI agents.
