About the Role
Join Walmart’s India Development Center (IDC) as a Software Engineer II and help build AI-driven software solutions that impact millions worldwide. You’ll be part of a high-performing engineering team, collaborating on projects that leverage AI/ML, Cloud, and Big Data to transform global retail technology.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software systems with AI/ML integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, design, and data.
- Solve complex challenges in cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and consumer applications.
- Participate in agile sprints, code reviews, and innovation sessions.
- Work on impactful domains such as supply chain, finance, logistics, and retail systems.
- Use tools and technologies like Java, Python, C++, Hadoop, Cassandra, and ML frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria
- Final-year students (Class of 2026) pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Proficient in tools such as GitHub, Co-pilot, Qodo Merge, and DX AI Chat.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Indian nationals currently enrolled in US universities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) standards and inclusive design.
- Passion for creating digital experiences that are accessible to everyone.
