About the Role
Are you passionate about solving large-scale distributed systems challenges? Join Akamai’s Edge Platform & Products QA Team as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and play a key role in ensuring world-class product delivery performance.
You’ll develop automation infrastructure, collaborate with multiple engineering teams, and test at scale — replicating real-world scenarios that power the world’s largest OTT events.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust automated system tests for distributed systems.
- Contribute to detailed test plans ensuring high coverage and reliability.
- Enhance and optimize test automation methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams for seamless integration and validation.
- Review system design requirements and ensure test accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience: 0–2 years in test automation or related development.
- Skills:
- Strong coding and automation skills in Python.
- Understanding of distributed systems and network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
- Passion for collaboration, problem-solving, and innovation.
