About the Role
Join Dell Technologies as a Software Engineer 1 (I5) and be part of our mission to build next-generation software solutions that shape the future of computing. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies to develop diagnostics, telemetry, and intelligent system software powering Dell’s world-class Client PCs.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and innovate system health and diagnostics software across pre-boot, recovery, and Windows OS environments.
- Collaborate with global teams, ecosystem partners, and industry experts to deliver advanced client software powered by AI.
- Enhance and debug existing OS-based diagnostics and telemetry features.
- Participate in Agile-based development cycles and ensure world-class quality metrics.
- Contribute innovative, patentable ideas for next-generation Dell platforms.
Essential Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in Windows OS software development using C#, .NET, or C++.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Windows Internals, WMI/ACPI, MFC, WCF, WPF, and PC architecture (Intel/AMD/ARM64).
- Experience in Agile development and familiarity with system health, diagnostics, or telemetry solutions.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with hybrid cloud or performance/security interoperability.
