Role Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Associate Test Engineer (Automation) to join our Smart Infrastructure – Research & Development team. If you’re passionate about product quality, testing, and automation, this role offers the perfect platform to grow your engineering career.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and ensure closure.
- Log and manage defects using appropriate tools and documentation.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure product excellence.
- Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 0–1 years (Freshers encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, and databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit), version control (Git/SVN), and web/application servers (Tomcat).
- Understanding of AWS/GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Open-source contributions or personal coding projects.
- Certifications in technology or agile methodologies.
- Participation in developer communities or meetups.
