About the Role:
As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1), you’ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting client IT infrastructures. You’ll monitor systems, troubleshoot network incidents, and ensure smooth operations across diverse environments.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve first-level technical issues.
- Monitor client networks and infrastructure to prevent downtime.
- Execute maintenance tasks such as patching and configuration updates.
- Support incident resolution through ITSM tools and approved SOPs.
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and automate routine tasks.
- Provide clear documentation and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco (Nexus, ASR, ISR, Meraki).
- Understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticket management processes.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or equivalent.
